3 DIFF HEMATOLOGY ANALYZER

The 3-part differential hematology analyzer is a crucial tool in clinical laboratories for blood analysis. Compared to other hematology instruments, the 3 diff analyzer offers advantages such as lower cost, speed, ease of use, and sufficient accuracy for most diagnostic needs.

Hematology equipment is among the most important in today's clinical laboratories. The hematology analyzer itself is a medical instrument used to analyze human blood components. It can test red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets, and measure parameters such as hemoglobin level, hematocrit, and specific blood cell counts.

The differentiation of blood cell types distinguishes the specifications of hematology equipment. There are three main types of blood cells: red blood cells (erythrocytes), white blood cells (leukocytes), and platelets. White blood cells have their own groups: neutrophils, eosinophils, basophils, lymphocytes, and monocytes. In some types of hematology equipment, neutrophils, eosinophils, and basophils are grouped into one large white blood cell group called 'granulocytes', so white blood cells are usually categorized into 3 types: granulocytes, lymphocytes, and monocytes. Hematology equipment capable of distinguishing these 3 types of white blood cells is also referred to as a 3-part differential hematology analyzer.

Here are the advantages of the 3-part differential hematology analyzer compared to other hematology instruments:

  1. Simple and fast: This equipment tends to be simpler in design and provides quick results, making it ideal for routine testing and high-throughput laboratories.
  2. More economical: 3 diff analyzers are generally more affordable in terms of purchase and maintenance costs compared to other hematology instruments, making them a more economical choice for laboratories with limited budgets.
  3. Easy to use: With simpler parameters, 3 diff analyzers are easier to use, allowing laboratory staff to quickly learn its operation and conduct tests efficiently.\
  4. Adequately accurate for many cases: Although they don't provide as comprehensive information as 5 diff analyzers regarding white blood cell types, 3 diff analyzers are sufficiently accurate for most diagnostic and general health monitoring needs.

One of Isotekindo Intertama's products is the Fortace Dx H380, which has the highest throughput in the 3-part differential hematology analyzer group at 80 tests/hour with a total of 22 testable parameters. In addition to its high throughput, this product also comes with internal controls and calibrators, facilitating operation and routine maintenance. With dimensions of 333138 mm and a weight of 12 kg, this device is suitable for various clinical laboratories, ranging from small to large sizes.
